Theme | Breaking Point: India and the Future of World Order
The global order is under unprecedented strain. Multilateral institutions are weakening, and international law is increasingly challenged. As these shifts accelerate, India stands at a critical juncture in defining its role in the emerging world order.
For our Spring 2026 edition, we invite submissions that engage with the theme “Breaking Point: India and the Future of World Order.” We welcome original, well-argued pieces that examine how India should respond to global fragmentation and what an 'India Way' might look like in a rapidly changing international system across a variety of issues.
Suggested Sub-Themes Include (but are not limited to):
- What ‘Order’ should India seek?
- The decay of Multilateral Institutions
- Rising belligerence and the disregard for International Law and Norms
- What is the future of the UN, WTO, and WHO?
- Regionalism: Lessons from South and Southeast Asia
- Multilateralism: What India should do with SAARC, ASEAN, and BRICS
- Conflict and Ceasefire: Is India Effective in Global Peacebuilding?
- Climate Change and India’s New Role
